Our Farm & Orchard
A farm is more than land and crops, it is a family’s heritage and future.
Brantview Apples is centrally located between Cambridge, Brantford, Hamilton, and Kitchener. We are a family operated farm who takes pride in providing fresh apples for our community. Our farming operation has evolved from dairy, cash crops, and apples, to focusing solely on our orchard. Our operation includes a Scratch Bakery, on farm Cidery, U-Pick, storefront, and Events Pavilion. In 2021 we celebrated our 200th harvest, and are looking forward to all the harvests to come!
Community
Here at Brantview Apples & Cider and Howell Road Cider Company, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our community.
As this is a generational farm, the Howells have been involved in a wide variety of community activities. From Paris Fair, to St. George Applefest, to minor sports, to municipal politic,s to St. George Fire Department, there is usually a Howell in the mix.
Through our community fund raising initiative, we have long supported local schools, sports teams, community groups and service groups. We feel that through this, it is an opportunity to give back.
Integrated Pest Management
Since 1947, Brantview has been apart of an Integrated Pest Management system. This consists of weekly inspections and counts of every insect and pest that may cause harm to our orchard.
A HOMAGE TO
Our History
200th Harvest
2021 was a very special one at Brantview! It was our bicentennial, 200th harvest, an accomplishment that we are very proud of! Our family wanted to do something that would reflect the hard work and dedication we put into our 8th generation family business. We wanted to share with all of you what apple farming, producing, harvesting and creating looks like at Brantview. Our operation has changed a lot in the past 20 years and it is important to us that we keep evolving.
